Warburg Pincus has invested US$20 million in Adlens Beacon with the aim of bringing to market Modifeye adjustable reading glasses.  ModifEye readers will be sold over-the-counter, allowing the wearer to adjust the lens power so as to stay focussed on any near- and middle-distance task.  Adlens Beacon holds an exclusive licence from Adlens to use the adjustable lens technology in over-the-counter reading glass products.
